PGH – People for Global Humanity – is a private not-for-profit association based in Zug, Switzerland. which seeks to support qualified non-for profit efforts around the world. PGH’s current engagements are in Cambodia, and Spain.
Currently, PGH’s activities are focused on three programs: the PGH schoolfund and PGH studaid, which provide funding and support for education to disadvantaged youth in Cambodia, and the Help for Animals program, which currently provides funding for the care of feral cat colonies in Spain.
Whether supporting a qualified school, or supporting the education of an individual student, we conduct due diligence on the educational partner. PGH’s representative permanently based in Phnom Penh supports all recipients of individual or project sponsorships throughout, carries an advisory relationship with our sponsored students, visits them regularly to monitor their progress, and assists PGH to report regular status updates on all local funding activities.
If we support a project dedicated to the wellbeing, rescue and protection of animals, we have a detailed knowledge of the specific local situation, know the organizations and people involved and know that our help will make a direct impact by providing direct help to the animals in need. We distribute funding based on budgets to the individuals, caretakers or organization in charge, monitor the results, and report ,what is being achieved, to our donors.
